Borley Way flooding – To report South Cambs District Council has carried out some works in the ditch and will return, at the end of the Summer, to improve the bank further in preparation for any winter flooding.

007 To report six residents entered the Parish Council’s photographic competition and the winner was Julia Thomson.

013 Existing Highways/Fly Tipping and Street Lighting Issues.
To report the footway pothole/trip hazard on Cherry Hinton Road will be repaired within three months and to report Gazelle Way features on the County Council’s gripfibre surface treatment programme for the new financial year 2021/22.
To report Maciej Adamczyk is the new Local Highway Officer (LHO) for our area, replacing Nicola Burdon.
To report Cllr Freeman reported a faulty streetlight in Cherry Hinton Road.
014 New Highways and Street Lighting. Please report any new items under this heading. If you are reporting streetlights, or lit bollards etc., please ensure you provide the number and location. Photographs are very helpful.
015 Consideration of Parish Council Risk.
Cllr Amrani to report on the New Traveller toolkit request that the parish council set a time, in early June, to discuss how we will: a) Prepare for an unauthorised encampment. Should we consider other options other than eviction? Can we identify suitable temporary sites which could be authorised? b) Manage community communications surrounding unauthorised encampments.

RECREATION COMMITTEE
Draft minutes of this meeting, held on 15th March 2021, are attached.
To decide on the quotes received for work to play equipment as recommended in the playground equipment inspections and discussed at Recreation Committee on 15th March 2021. Quotes from Greg Smith, Safeplay and Playscape Playscapes to follow before the meeting.
To report covered bins have been ordered. Total (including fixings) £1270.94.
Cllr Fisher to report on the site visit to Pembroke Way following an issue a resident has had with the trees outside their home, in Pembroke Way, dropping catkins.
To decide on the new grass cutting regime along Gazelle Way to create a wildflower verge. Paper attached.

f) To report Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC) is launching a new Vision for the campus, with a request for people who live and work near CBC to get involved in shaping plans for the future via a new website at www.cbc-vision.co.uk throughout April and May.
