Before this meeting, at 6.45pm, Alan Hitch from Cambridgeshire County Council will be speaking to parish councillors about the replacement streetlights in the parish.

058 OPEN FORUM FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. To allow members of the public to address the Council (10 minutes).
059 To RECEIVE REPORTS from Cambridgeshire County Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council and the Parish Clerk including correspondence.
060 To consider and approve the DRAFT MINUTES of the Full Parish Council meeting held on 7th July 2025.
061 To consider the appointment of the new clerk and approved the new contract. (Attached)
062 MATTERS ARISING from 7th July meeting:
a) Item 032 – VANDALISM – To report Voi and the police have no liaised in spite of the Clerk contact them both.
b) Item 047 – TREE PLANTING SCHEME AND MAINTENANCE for the Recreation Ground car park – update from Cllr Kelleway
c) Item 049 – CLOSURE OF DARWIN NURSERIES – update from CCCllr Morgan.
d) Item 055 – REVISED COSTS FROM HOPE COMMUNITY CHURCH – to report a cost of £40 for a two hour meeting was accepted by Hope Community Church (from January 2026).
e) MOBILE GYM EVENT – to repot this is a Cambs County Council Care Together funded initiative, but no publicity was done in Teversham before the classes started. After the last meeting and after speaking to Care Together herself, the Clerk posted it on Teversham Community Facebook page.

063 PLANNING (extension given to 2nd September for parish response):
i) T1: Walnut – Reduce branches to give approx 0.5m clearance to BT cable & reduce crown by approx 3m, crown lift to approx 5m above ground level. This is to maintain shape and to allow clearance around the BT cable.

067 COMMITTEE UPDATES:
i) Finance and Audit Committee on MONDAY 21st JULY 2025: This meeting was postponed as was not quorate.
ii) Community Care Committee: The draft Minutes of the Community Care Committee, held on MONDAY 21st JULY 2025, are attached.
068 STAFFING:
i) To report interviews were carried out for the post of Parish Clerk and RFO on 29th July and
ii) To note Cllr Allyson Robinson was the Proper Officer in the absence of a Clerk.
069 FINANCE:
a) FULL PAYMENT SCHEDULES AND BANK RECONCILIATIONS – for August and September will be circulated before the meeting. To consider and approve the payments listed on the payment schedules.
b) To note the Clerk has registered for FSCS protection from Unity Trust Bank by confirming eligibility and turnover. Unity has received your response. As per FSCS rules, if your stated turnover does not exceed €500,000 (or £431,749), you are automatically eligible for FSCS protection and require no further action.
c) To note the NALC revised pay scales were released on 25th July 2025 and the increase in the Clerk’s hourly pay was backdated to 1st April 2025 to £18.65 an hour.
