118 To report the Clerk nearly has all the paperwork now to register the Recreation Ground car park with the Land Registry.
119 GRASS CUTTING CONTRACT
To report that after a year of the three-year contract has passed, the Parish Council is supposed to write to the contractor to confirm the contract can continue for the full three years (or not!). This hasn’t been done. To agree the Clerk formally writes to RH Landscapes confirming the contract will continue until renewal in March 2023.
120 The annual tree survey needs to be completed. Luke Hamill of RH Landscapes carries this out while carrying out normal duties in Teversham and last year charged £2700 to do the additional work only. Last year’s quotes were for site visit only:
£1114.92 Eastern Tree Surgery – Site visit only and preparation and submission of arboricultural report and tree location plans.
£868.80 EWP Consultancy Ltd – Site visit only and preparation and submission of arboricultural report and tree location plans.
Luke has said this year he will do a basic inspection of the trees again this year and not charge for it and recommend works and price it at the same time on the basis that RH Landscapes carry out the recommended works.
To decide on the best course of action this year and to consider whether in the future the annual tree survey should be part of the landscape contract.

122 RECREATION GROUND HIRE/USE
Nothing to report
123 OTHER ISSUES Opportunity to report or table other ideas and issues, not elsewhere on the agenda.
