AGENDA

01 ELECTION OF CHAIR. To elect a chair for the coming year.

02 To receive APOLOGIES.

03 To APPROVE THE MINUTES of the last meeting held on 19th February 2024.

04 MATTERS ARISING:
a) Item 36b) To note the Clerk now has access to Yu Energy’s online portal.

05 SPEND AND BUDGET REVIEW TO 03/07/24 Please find attached a copy of the expenditure and income to date.

06 To note the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) was submitted on 24th June 2024.

07 To note Unity Trust Bank has changed the parish council current account from T1 to T2 because our turnover has increased. This means the charges are £6 a month as now but we will be charged 15p per transaction as well from September.

08 To consider the funding of three additional defibrillators in the parish. Cost is £2,244 + VAT each and a 5% discount as a returning customer and a further 5% discount if we purchase 2 complete packages at the same time.

09 To consider changing the Parish Council mobile phone. Current phone is over six years old, uses about £30 every six week, pay as you go. Proposal is for Vodafone, 36-month contract, £14 a month (+VAT).

10 PENSION SCHEME. Nothing to report.

11 SECTION 137
a) It was noted the s137 limit for 2024/25 is £10.81 per elector. Our electors as at 09/11/2023 stands at 2031. Therefore, we can spend £21,955.11 under this power.
